Glider Day

50 year 9 pupils participated in a Science and Technology day organised by the Small Piece Trust on 29th January 2009. The day involved enhancing pupils understanding of, and aptitude for, problem solving, creativity, design, engineering and teamwork. The activity involved designing and making a glider which could fly the furthest. Pupils worked in groups of 5. The day ended with a presentation of their design work and a final competition to test the gilders.
