Chaos Science Roadshow

Pupils from Year 7, 8 and 9 had the opportunity to experience the University of Cambridge's 'CHaOS Science roadshow' on July the 1st. When faced with pupils telling you 'the biology experiments were the best' and 'Can they come more often Miss?' and 'this is great! I've learnt loads!' you know it's not only been a worthwhile experience but an enjoyable one too. THe students from Cambridge who mainly take the roadshow to other parts of the country but also run workshops at Cambridge Science Festival were impressed to say the least with Sawston pupils inquisitive and enquiring minds. We were grateful for their flexible approach to the day which helped when we had eagar students wanting to see more at break and lunch!

With plans for a similar day next year for our local primary schools we hope to see more of this enthusiastic Univiersity team at Sawston Village College.
